The Psalmist is confident: “Judge Me (God)… (I am) a banner of integrity.” And yet, the Psalmist calls on God for aid in overcoming temptation, conveying humility. Remarkably, this Psalm explicitly lists the sources of enticement, those who are deceitful, hucksters, blood thirsty, “who have in their grip vile schemes and whose hands are filled with bribes.”
