“Jews Go Viral: Anti-Semitism in the Age of Coronavirus”
Dr Shira Klein will discuss the current explosion of anti-Semitic images, exploring how social media accuses Jews for spreading the Coronavirus. Join Dr Klein in tracing the roots of this Jew-hatred back to the Middle Ages, the Fin de Siècle, and the Nazi period. Shira Klein is Associate Professor of History at Chapman University, and a CBI congregant. Her book Italy’s Jews from Emancipation to Fascism is available as a podcast.
