CBI’s “Welcome Circle”, in partnership with HIAS (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society) and the Orange County Jewish Refugees Coalition, has undertaken an ambitious project to take on the resettlement of a refugee family from Ukraine. Iryna is a single mother with a twelve year old daughter with autism. She is currently renting a single room in Irvine, and her daughter is enrolled there in public school. The family does have their own transportation and Iryna speaks excellent English.
We are accepting donations to help us meet the substantial cost that comes with the responsibility to resettle this family.
