A large part of my daily preparation is a translation of the Psalm, using many other translations and then a personal choice of meaning best conveyed. I am learning so much in that process, including a refined appreciation for the Hebrew word choices of the Psalter. We will compare Psalm 18 to 2 Samuel 22, specifically some differences of word choices.
